Milly & Nans is a fibre & textile arts “Hobberation”, run by enthusiast, Lauren-Noelle. She puts her creative mind and addiction to stringy things of color and texture to work here in this labor of love.

Milly & Nans is named not for the designer, but for her grandmother and mother. Lauren-Noelle was inspired to honour her Nana, Mildred’s inspiration and gifts, as well as her mother, Nancy’s passed-on love of fashion and overall support. Fashion, knitting and sewing were passed on through genes and is our heritage.

But at Milly, you won’t get your nana’s crafts. What you will find is the funky, stylish, hip and thoroughly youthful and modern take on some of time’s oldest arts. I even do unique things with yarn like making beads of merely the fibre and fabric glue … and upcoming are bags and wearables made of my invention: woveknit.
